Community
Rooted in the Northeast. United by Community.
We’re proud of our strong local ties and deep commitment to community engagement. From partnering with organizations that share our values to supporting initiatives that reflect the heritage of Poland Spring, we celebrate the people and places that make the Northeast home.

Contributing to Communities
At Poland Spring, we believe in supporting the communities where we live and work. One of the ways we give back is through regular product donations, helping to meet local needs and strengthen our ties across the Northeast. In 2024, we donated more than 1.2 million bottles of water to organizations serving communities across Maine-part of our ongoing commitment of being there when it matters most.
Access to safe drinking water becomes even more critical during emergencies. That’s why we work with national partners like the American Red Cross, Convoy of Hope, World Central Kitchen, and Feeding America, while also supporting local organizations that respond to disasters, water safety issues, and other urgent situations.
Celebrating Local Connections
Poland Spring has proudly supported a variety of local charities, events, and initiatives that reflect our deep commitment to the communities we serve. These partnerships have helped us make a meaningful impact and build lasting relationships across the region.

The Ecology School
The Ecology School is a nonprofit education center that transforms how people interact with each other and with our environment. We’re proud to support their mission through our partnership, because educating the next generation of environmental stewards starts with hands-on learning. Poland Spring and The Ecology School have a nearly 20-year relationship, working together to educate Mainers and students throughout the Northeast. With programs like The Teacher Institute, our local efforts will be expanded to students and teachers across the country.

Northeast roots and community-first values
The Poland Spring story began between approximately 10,000 years ago when the glaciers retreated from the ocean across what is now Maine Gulf of Maine. Over time, the sand and gravel aquifers filled with water, creating the same naturally occurring springs we all enjoy today.
Poland Spring has a strong track record of positively impacting our home communities and environments, alongside the local organizations we partner with. We help to protect local water sources and support local, state, and federal regulations that promote water equality.
